My consultancy client is seeking to appoint an Actuarial Analyst to join its retirement practise in London. This is an exciting time to be joining the business with plans in place to grow the retirement function aggressively over the next 12 months. The ideal candidate will have 2years+ experience in Pensions and/or Consultancy.
This is a good opportunity to an Actuarial Analyst who wants to start their consulting journey by attending Trustee meetings and gaining responsibility on client projects.
You will work alongside c.30 Part Qualified and Qualified Actuaries on both Corporate and Trustee assignments with the emphasis on Trustee Clients.
- Assisting Consulting Actuaries on a variety of work streams on a portfolio of clients
- Attending meeting and getting exposure to delivering advice to clients, as your experience grows you will have more responsibility and contact with clients
- Checking Day to Day calculations, acting as a checker for junior actuaries work
- Preparing, supervising and undertaking accounting disclosures (FRS17, IAS19, USGAAP)
Progress through the Actuarial Exams (At least half way through CTs)
Good communication skills
Drive and desire to move into Consulting Actuary role
