Major insurer has an exciting opportunity for a qualified life actuary to lead the development and implementation of IFRS 17 reporting capability, taking responsibility for the identification and delivery of appropriate reporting methodologies, processes and controls.

Ensuring that the methodologies, systems and processes are robust, you will also ensure that risks are assessed and appropriately controlled, and that accurate IFRS 17 results and analysis can be produced within BAU in a timely manner.

In addition, you will build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, presenting methodology proposals, incorporating supporting analysis, rationale and commentary for approval.

With a good understanding of reporting metrics (IFRS, Solvency II), the successful candidate will also possess knowledhe of bulk and individual annuity products alongside assets backing annuity products.
