Our client, a leading reinsurer, is seeking a part-qualified life actuary to work within the Risk Reporting team within Financial & Insurance Risk Management where you will provide support for risk reporting and Internal Model validation.

Taking responsibility for the production of ORSA reporting, you will develop a set of scenarios for use in the ORSA whilst adding analysis around the scenario output.

You will also perform high-quality analysis and produce accurate output in line with risk analysis, capital projections or other requirements that apply.

In addition, you will assist in validation of the Partial Internal Model, including regular deep-dive reviews as part of the 3-year cycle of validation, and developing and running validation tools on the outputs of the model.

With knowledge of Solvency II reserving and reporting requirements, alongside an understanding of risk reporting, the successful candidate will have a background in programming e.g. VBA/Matlab.
