Our client, a major insurer, seeks a part-qualified or qualified life actuary to provide support in managing and optimising the Retail Protection financial results on an ongoing basis.

You will work with the Head of Financial Performance to define, build and refine reporting and MI capability to ensure robust, accurate and timely financial and product performance data.

You will also support the development and implementation of new reporting strategies in response to changing business circumstances and strategic initiatives, both commercial and regulatory driven, for example, IFRS17.

In addition, you will support the implementation of the Model Risk Control Framework within the business and support the continued adherence.

With data modelling skills, the successful candidate will have some experience gained in Life Office financial management / financial reporting. Some experience of working with a range of Reporting Measures (IFRS, EEV, ICA, Solvency II) also required.
