A large banking group is looking for a nearly/newly qualified pensions consultant (or someone who’s stopped the exams) for a market risk role. The position will involve looking at the differences in insurance risk between the bank and the life company and looking at the overall group’s exposure to pensions risk.
Candidates need to have solid pensions consultancy experience including DB scheme accounting and capital calculations experience and knowledge of pensions regulations. Any de-risking or hedging experience or risk management would also be good.
Candidates must have strong communication skills, be an organised self starter and have a proven contribution to the success of high performance teams. The role provides an excellent opportunity to get insurance experience and move away from consultancy.
