Strong candidates required to contribute towards the delivery of appropriate technical price and target price in line with overall European GI underwriting and commercial lines business strategies and objectives. Roles available for two types of candidates:
a) GI student / actuary - with a minimum of 5 years GI experience, experience in providing actuarial advice to underwriters, extensive market, risk and business awareness and exceptional PC skills (Excel, VBA, EMBLEM/EMB software desirable)
b) Pensions / Life qualified actuary - unique opportunity for a qualified pensions / life actuary to get a foot in the door with a GI role with a competitive benefits package.
All applicants must be ambitious and keen to develop their career within general insurance; must have excellent technical and communication skills and be available to start by August.
This role represents a springboard to work in wider areas across other offices in the UK and indeed the world with the international rotational program available at the end of the first year.
