Job Description
We are currently seeking a Valuation Actuary in order to support Balance Sheet Valuation and Reporting.
You will be required to assist the Senior Valuation Actuary as required with all valuation work, supported by the team of actuarial students.
You will be expected to execute experience analysis and other research to recommend and justify appropriate bases for balance sheet valuations.
To also ensure the complete and timely provision of FSA Returns and other similar information, and to provide support to the Finance team in the production of the Annual Report and Accounts.
You will regularly review data quality and be proactive in identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.
You may also assist the MGM Solvency II project and ad-hoc projects as required.
Desired Skills & Experience
You need to be a Fellow or near qualified Fellow of the Institute/Faculty of Actuaries. We ideally require a minimum of 3 - 4 years actuarial experience in life assurance or valuations combined with good knowledge of stochastic modelling.
