You'll be required to use your pricing and actuarial skills to look at sales volumes and trends to manage performance, and make sure that rates are tested and accurately delivered too, by producing rate reviews and recommendations, competitor and performance reviews and Partner management information. You'll also produce pricing recommendations for both new and existing bids and tenders.
As an Analyst within the Technical and Analytics team you'll produce the analyses, models and projections that steer their most strategic decisions, and using your statistical skills to produce appropriate models across a range of areas such as usage projections to provide insights and analysis
To be considered, you will have good pricing experience and a track record of delivering complex analysis in either breakdown, insurance, banking, retail or utilities. Naturally you'll be highly numerate, equipped with a degree in a maths related subject, with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
For actuarial students, full study support is offered towards fellowship of the actuarial profession, however those with the relevant skills / experience that are not studying towards the exams will also be considered
For this exciting position, you will be familiar with software like Emblem, Excel, SQL, Access, Database manipulation and, ideally, SAS. More than that, though, you'll have a real flair for making complex technical information simple to understand.
