Star Actuarial is currently working alongside a leading reinsurer in the search for a part-qualified life actuary to join its reporting analysis team where you will contribute to the quarterly Economic Value Management submission through consolidation and analysis of EVM results.

In this diverse role, you will be involved in a mixture of project based and regular, quarterly work including analysis of movements of the results from period to period, alongside reconciliation of cashflow to balance sheet results.

You will also support business migration project activity, including the analysis of the impact of new deals, as well as the reconciliation of balance sheets between different reporting bases (e.g. EVM to US GAAP, SII).

In addition, you will be involved in loss recognition testing and process improvements and developments.

Proficient in the use of Excel, the successful canndidate will possess knowledge of a variety of UK life products.

Knowledge of EV reporting basis preferred, as would experience working in a reporting team.
