Life Consultant, Senior Actuarial Analyst
Your new role
The main focus of the role will be to assist the engagement team on any of their core propositions, namely: reporting; economic capital; and modelling pricing projects. You will be assisting in the delivery of client engagements, working as part of a project team on client sites, and providing technical input to a number of projects
In addition, you will support senior management efforts to cultivate and maintain target client relationships, including assisting with proposals and the development of sales materials. Drafting reports and presentations, managing projects, working with other teams, and providing technical input is an important part of the role
The successful candidate may be required to manage small teams.
As well as project delivery responsibilities, the role involves supporting other aspects of the team's work including sales and marketing, research and development of new services, and knowledge management
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, you'll be a Life student making good progress with the actuarial exams actuary. As mentioned, experience in reporting and use of modelling software is required. Previous consulting experience is not essential, although advantageous
It goes without saying that you will need strong communication skills (both written and oral) in this role.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a base salary of between £50k and £80k plus an excellent benefits package
