Consolidation Actuary - Life
Star Actuarial, together with a market-leading insurer, are seeking a qualified life actuary to support the consolidation and analysis of all reporting for the life insurance business on a range of metrics: Solvency II, IFRS and Economic Capital.
Regularly monitoring solvency for regulatory and economic capital requirements (with analysis of change), you will produce economic variance in respect of IFRS profit whilst providing reconciliations between estimated and actual results.
You will also provide input into business forecasting, planning and other MI processes and understand differences between actual and planned results.
In addition, you will assist in setting assumptions for the wider actuarial reporting team whilst providing technical troubleshooting of any issues arising from the analysis of surplus and other areas of the reported results.
